Jesse Schenker to Open 2 Spring

Jesse along with owners Michael and Claudia Taglich are set to open 2 Spring, a new Coastal American restaurant in Oyster Bay in Spring of 2017. 

The soon-to-open restaurant is undergoing a major renovation. The restaurant will give a nod to the seaside but will have more of an urban look. There will be an expansive bar and a duel level space including an outdoor patio. 

The food will be moderately priced and locally sourced. “I only source the best,” Schenker said. “I want to use as much local fish as possible, and would like to have a close relationship with the farms close to Oyster Bay.”

Check Out the New Menu at The Bar Room at The Gander

The Bar Room at The Gander offers an all-day menu from acclaimed chef Jesse Schenker. The menu features several sections including Bread & Snacks, Cheese & Charcuterie, Vegetables, Pastas, Fish & Meat, as well as nightly rotating Large Format Feasts served family-style for the entire table. Additionally, a selection of seasonal specialty cocktails, beer, and an extensive wine list is available.

Guests have the option of sitting in The Bar Room, the window cocktails tables, or at the upbeat 15-seat bar. Walk-ins are accepted in all three areas and The Bar Room welcomes reservations. We also can accommodate large as well as semi-private parties.
