Jesse Schenker’s new restaurant The Gander coming soon!

Jesse Schenker’s highly anticipated second outpost is opening April 2014 at 15 West 18th street in the Flat Iron in NYC. Chef Schenker’s menu will feature sophisticated, yet casual, American dishes complimented by a deep international wine list orchestrated by Wine Director Rick Pitcher, formerly of Gotham Bar & Grill. Recette’s Pastry Chef Christina Lee will join Schenker at The Gander, where she will create modern takes on classic American desserts. James Beard Award winning Designer Thomas Schlesser transformed the space into a warm and welcoming atmosphere that blends mid-century American and contemporary design.
