Jesse along with owners Michael and Claudia Taglich are set to open 2 Spring, a new Coastal American restaurant in Oyster Bay in Spring of 2017.
The soon-to-open restaurant is undergoing a major renovation. The restaurant will give a nod to the seaside but will have more of an urban look. There will be an expansive bar and a duel level space including an outdoor patio.
The food will be moderately priced and locally sourced. “I only source the best,” Schenker said. “I want to use as much local fish as possible, and would like to have a close relationship with the farms close to Oyster Bay.”
