Recette was an urban American restaurant that married traditional and progressive techniques and flavors. The sophisticated yet approachable menu was designed so that diners could order just as they please. The food was crafted around how Jesse likes to eat-with diners able to choose from a diverse menu of snacks or plates. There was also an option for tasting menus every night of the week, and the once-a-month “Mondays with Jesse,” which is a elaborate, experimental 10-course tasting menu dinner to be reserved in advance. However you choose to create your experience, The food at Recette (‘Recipe’ in French) celebrated bold flavors and playful touches. Recette's final dinner was served on April 23, 2016. The west village establishment lived for a long 6-years and continues to live on at Jesse Schenker's second restaurant The Gander.

The Gander

The Gander is Chef Jesse Schenker’s new American restaurant located in Manhattan’s Flatiron district. The Gander offers an all-day menu featuring Snacks, Cheese & Charcuterie, Large & Small Plates as well as nightly rotating Large Format Feasts served family-style for the entire table. Guests have the option of a seasonal chef tasting menu by Chef Jesse Schenker highlighting Schenker's unique and imaginative style of cooking.

The Gander boasts a deep, international wine program with over 650 selections that has gained recognition from The New York Times as one of the "Ten Standout Wine Lists in New York City." Diners can enjoy a large assortment of spirits as well as a unique specialty cocktail program that highlights market fresh ingredients, all available at the expansive bar.

2 Spring

2 Spring opening in Spring 2017 is a casual fine-dining restaurant serving coastal new American cuisine in a beautiful historical space of Oyster Bay, New York. The seasonal menu by Chef Jesse Schenker is a unique marriage of refined dishes with rustic influence.

Chef Jesse will utilize modern techniques to accentuate the familiar but elevated menu items, such as seafood crudos, seasonal salads, pastas, and roasted fish and meats. The menu will emphasize heavily on vegetation and aromatics streaming textures, acidity and sweetness in to every bite keeping the palate excited and enticed.

2 Spring's beverage program is a modern take on classic cocktails using local spirits and highlighting seasonal ingredients. The wine list is a carefully curated global list with selections from Old and New World.

The 75-seat space includes a stunning full bar, beautiful views of the town square, and a garden patio for outdoor dining.
